Data Processing Addendum
Matriq offers a Data Processing Addendum ("DPA") to customers who process personal data subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, or substantially similar data-protection regimes.
The DPA governs Matriq's role as a data processor when providing the Service, and includes:
- Scope, roles, and duration of processing;
- Categories of data subjects and personal data processed;
- Our security, confidentiality, and incident-notification obligations;
- Sub-processor terms and objection rights (the current list is on the Sub-processors page);
- Assistance with data-subject requests and impact assessments;
- Standard Contractual Clauses (2021 EU Module 2; UK Addendum) for international transfers;
- Return and deletion of Customer Data on termination.
How to sign the DPA
A countersigned copy of Matriq's current DPA is available on request. It is pre-signed by Matriq and can be countersigned digitally — no negotiation is required for our standard terms.
Email security@matriq.ai with your legal entity name and the contact person to receive, and we'll send the executed copy back within two business days.
